San Diego's RN-Led Overnight Care

You may need night nurse support if…
-
You are exhausted from overnight wakeups
-
You are recovering from birth or a C-section
-
Feeding nights feel stressful or confusing
-
Your partner is returning to work
-
You want experienced support, not guesswork
You do not need to wait until you are completely depleted to ask for help. Night support works best when it is planned before burnout takes over.

Why Families Choose Night Nurse (RN) Support
RN-Led Observation
More informed overnight support during feeds, sleep, diaper changes, soothing, and newborn patterns.
Feeding Guidance
Support with feeding rhythms, bottle routines, pumping-related care, burping, spit-up, and when to seek follow-up.
Postpartum Recovery Awareness
Support that keeps mom’s recovery, rest, comfort, and follow-up needs in view too.
Escalation Guidance
Less guessing about what is normal, what to monitor, and when to contact your provider.
Parent Education
Practical newborn care guidance so you feel more confident after each visit.
Higher-Trust Overnight Care
Designed for families who want RN-led experience, reassurance, and more than basic overnight help.
More than extra hands overnight
Many families do not just want help. They want someone they can truly trust with their newborn.
Our RN-led care gives parents hands-on overnight support plus a higher level of newborn and postpartum experience, observation, and guidance.
That means more rest, more reassurance, and more confidence during the early weeks home.
Night Nurse Support
Best for families who want RN-led care, newborn guidance, feeding support, postpartum recovery support, and more experienced observation overnight.
or
Night Nanny Support
Best for families who mainly need non-medical overnight baby care, basic soothing, feeding support, diapering, and rest.

What a Night Nurse
Visit Looks Like
Check-In
We review baby’s feeding plan, routine, supplies, parent concerns, and goals for the night.
Overnight Care
We support feeds, diapers, burping, soothing, settling, and safe sleep routines while parents rest.
RN-Led Observation
We observe feeding patterns, diapers, sleep stretches, soothing needs, and anything parents want extra guidance around.
Morning Passdown
At the end of the shift, we provide a full passdown so parents know exactly how the night went.
After-Visit Summary
Later in the day, we send a written summary with care notes, education, recommendations, and follow-up guidance when appropriate.
Confidence After Care
You are left with more than rest — you have clearer information, better guidance, and more confidence moving into the day.
Our goal is not only to help you survive the night.
Our goal is to help your family feel steadier, safer, and more confident at home.

Mari has a gentle, kind spirit and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to pregnancy, birth and postpartum. She would be an absolute gift to anyone looking for extra support as they navigate the 4th trimester.
Amanda B. CNM (Midwife)
What truly stood out was how amazing Mari was with our newborn-especially when it came to feeding. Mari patiently guided us through feeding techniques, helped troubleshoot challenges, and taught us essential newborn practices that made a huge difference during those early days at home. She never rushed me and always made sure I felt supported, reassured, and empowered as a new mother.

New Mom
As a first-time father, I can honestly say that Mari was an incredible support for both my wife and my family. From the very beginning, she put us at ease with her calm presence, deep knowledge, and genuine care. Mari gave my wife clear, practical advice from labor and delivery, and all the way through the first week of coming home. She was always explaining things in a way that made us feel confident rather than overwhelmed.
